Winemaking has been a continuous tradition in our family for well over 225 years.

I, Bernd Schales am an 8th generation winemaker.
My wife, Stefanie is a 10th generation winegrower.

Enriched by the remarkable tradition of our respective families, we also yearned to create a new chapter in our family's history.
We ventured across the Atlantic to the New World, and started
an ultra-contemporary winery here in the Okanagan Valley.

Our roots have now successfully been transplanted, and our family tradition continues with the 8th Generation Winery.
